1300SMILES was founded by Dr Daryl Holmes and has been listed on the Australian Stock Exchange since early 2005. With 31 full-service dental facilities in ten major population centres in Queensland, Sydney and Adelaide, it is easy to find affordable quality dental care near to your home or work. Our corporate and administrative offices are located in Townsville, QLD.

Every practice has been designed to offer you a relaxing and pleasant environment. Each of our QIP accredited practices has up-to-date technology that is maintained to extremely high standards and which is only operated by our professionally trained staff. Our conveniently located practices offer extended trading hours and plenty of parking.

We strongly believe in offering our patients available, accessible and affordable, high quality dental treatments as we want everyone to experience the benefits of great dental health. When you visit our practice, you can be sure of receiving the best and most appropriate dental care to restore your dental health, or to give you the smile of your dreams. We never recommend unnecessary treatments, and whenever possible, will provide you with a range of options, all of which will be fully explained to you without using lots of impossible-to-understand dental terminology. If you do need treatment we will always provide you with a written plan detailing the costs involved so you know exactly what to expect.

Every team member has been chosen not only for their qualifications and experience, but also for their caring attitude and friendly nature; we want you to feel free to ask questions and to be able to discuss any aspect of your treatment with our staff.

1300SMILES is very proactive in assisting our dental staff in continuing education, including on-the-job training and through sponsored accredited training. Our practice managers are encouraged to achieve their Certificate IV in Practice Management and we have an extremely well-supported trainee program that helps young people begin their professional career in dentistry through qualifying for their Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Dental Nursing).
