About Relationships Australia Queensland
At Relationships Australia, our vision is to build healthy relationships for stronger communities. We aim to promote relationships which are respectful, fair and safe, particularly where people or communities are at risk or are vulnerable.
Practitioners who work in our Morayfield venue are available for face-to-face or telephone counselling depending on client requirements.
Our office is staffed Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Services Provided at Health Hub Morayfield
Elder Mediation Support Service (EMSS) Monday-Friday.
The Elder Mediation Support Service (EMSS) empowers older people who are in need of professional help of guidance for any family issues around their safety, finances or living arrangements. Staff support includes working with our client and if appropriate, their family or support network. We provide free information, counselling, referral and mediation services.
Persons aged over 65 or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are over 50 and are experiencing, or a risk of experiencing abuse are eligible for this service. Enquiries – please call 1300 364 277.
Gambling Help Service (GHS) Monday-Thursday.
The Gambling Help Service offers free, professional, confidential unlimited counselling sessions for people dealing with gambling issues, their spouses, other family members or significant others who support them. RAQ also operates the national Gambling Help Line, which is available for people to call for support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1800 858 858.
Relationship Counselling (RC) Monday and Wednesday.
Relationship Counselling supports individuals, couples and families with strategies to deal with everyday life issues. There is a cost for counselling but concessions and fee-reductions are available. Enquiries – Please call 1300 364 277.
Redress Support Service (RSS) Friday only.
Created in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. RAQ can provide free support for people impacted by institutional child sexual abuse who are considering applying to the National Redress Scheme. Enquiries – Please call 1800 552 127.
